Online Registration Now Available for Fall Recreation Classes and Activities

Registration for all Parks and Recreation classes and activities scheduled from September - December is now available. Our fall catalogue is full of many brand new programs as well as some old favorites. What's new? Join us for the new Bubble Soccer league, a movie in the park, or perhaps a cooking class. From athletics to arts, fitness to outdoor adventure, we are offering fantastic activities for citizens of all ages. Looking for a new hobby or skill? Join us to learn how to paint, create stained glass art, play mahjong, or even tap dance! Or, gather some friends and co-workers and join one of our adult rec leagues for some friendly weeknight competition. We also offer plenty of kids' activities to keep your little ones engaged and active all summer long. We are also excited to bring you some new outdoor activities through our Naturalist program - yoga, fitness walks, hiking, backpacking, and more.

    2015 Fall Activity Guide

The Lynchburg Parks and Recreation Activity Guide has always been a great way to learn about the many recreation programs and activities being offered this season. This year, we are expanding our guide to include other useful information, including updates on our many park improvement projects, articles on local history, features on the Lynchburg Community Market and the Lynchburg Museum System, and a map of our parks, trails, and facilities. We hope you enjoy this new format, and find the publication useful, informative, and enjoyable.

If you are a Lynchburg resident, you will receive a copy of the guide in your mailbox very soon. In the meantime, download a PDF of the guide here
