Current & Upcoming Vacancies on Boards & Commissions

The City of Lynchburg is a great place to live, work, and play.  One important way for citizens to become engaged in their community is to volunteer to serve on a City Council appointed board or commission.

In December 2019, there will be anticipated vacancies on several boards and commissions. Residents who are interested in being considered to fill one of the vacancies are invited to complete an application available online at www.lynchburgva.gov. An application may also be obtained from the Clerk of Council Office, City Hall, 900 Church Street, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For more information, contact Robin Craig, Clerk of Council at (434) 455-3983, or robin.craig@lynchburgva.gov.
