PROMOTION GOOD THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2014
National Tourism Week is May 3 – May 11 and the Lynchburg Regional Tourism Department is kicking off the celebration by inviting residents to Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown and visiting attractions located throughout the city.
Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown is a way for residents to become acquainted with some of the great hospitality-related attractions located in their hometown. Lynchburg residents can familiarize themselves with leisure options that are available in their backyard, and when a visitor asks them "What's there to do in this city?" they can respond with countless suggestions and a sense of community pride.
Many of the attractions are offering discounted admissions and/or special sales in their gift shops. The Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown
promotion ends August 31, 2014.
