    Easter Egg Hunt and Roll at Point of Honor

    Join the free festivities at historic Point of Honor on Saturday, April 5, from 10:00am – 2:00pm! Hunt for colorful eggs, enter the egg roll races and see the creative eggshibit! Gather on the front steps of Point of Honor at 10:00am to hear story readings by local celebrities; stories will be read in 15 minute intervals.  Egg hunts begin for children ages 4 and under at 11:00am on the front lawn. From 11:30am – 12:00pm there will be an egg hunt for children ages 5 – 7 in the orchard and for children ages 8 – 10 in the garden. Bring a picnic blanket and a lunch to enjoy the views from Point of Honor’s front lawn. After lunch, egg roll races begin on the front lawn; from 12:30 – 1:00pm for children ages 4 and under; from 1:00 – 1:30pm for children ages 5 – 7, and from 1:30 – 2:00pm for children ages 8 – 10. Throughout the day the Easter Bunny will appear in costume, and activities include traditional games like cornhole, clothespin drop, hopscotch, gracis (rolling hoop game), sack races, and cookie decorating.
