Main Street Renewal Project Moves to Intersection of 10th & Main (Beg. week of Nov. 11)
Beginning the week of November 11, and continuing for approximately three weeks, waterline crews will be working in the intersection of Tenth and Main Streets as part of the Main Street Renewal Project.
One lane of through-traffic on Main Street will remain open. Tenth Street (between Main and Church Streets) and Tenth Street (between Main and Commerce Streets) will be converted to two-way traffic to allow access to the City Center Parking Deck and parking lots.
Motorists are asked to please obey all traffic signage and drive slowly as crews will be working in the street.
The City of Lynchburg continues to offer free two-hour parking for customers on the top floor of the Midtown Parking Deck. Check in at the pay station at Midtown or on the Passport phone app for details.
