    From swim lessons to spraygrounds, lifeguard training to water slide, Lynchburg Parks & Recreation's Aquatics program offers summertime fun and learning for the whole family. Read about our programs below, and follow the links for more information.

    Miller Park Pool keeps the city cool in the summer with some wet and wild fun for everyone every day! Located in mid-town, the Olympic size pool also offers a children's pool area, a twisting water slide, high dive, and a kiddie area with mushroom waterfall.  An ADA accessible hydraulic lift chair allows those with special needs to enjoy the complex. And don't forget the concessions stand for drinks and snacks- it operates during regular pool hours and closes approximately 30 minutes before the pool.

    2 & under FREE
    Youth ages 3-15 $2
    Adults age 16 & Up $3
    SEASON PASS $50
    Family Pass base rate (up to 4 family members) $120
    Family Pass Additional members $25/each

    Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult 16 or older.

    Water Safety Day

    Come and learn how you and your family can stay safe in, on, and around the water. Regular entry fees apply.

    Military Appreciation Day

    Fee: Show your Military I.D. for FREE admission

    Back to School
    Saturday, August 15 12:00pm - 6:00pm
    Fee: Show your school pride by wearing any school shirt and get $1 off regular price admission.

    Paws in the Pool
    Saturday, August 22 1:00pm - 3:00pm
    Friends of the Lynchburg Dog Park present this fun event when the Miller Park Pool goes to the dogs for the day.

    CLASSES & LESSONS

    The Lynchburg Parks and Recreation Aquatics program offers a range of classes and activities, including swim lessons, lifeguard training, water safety, and more. To learn more about these programs and register online, visit our online registration page.

    Miller Park Pool Rentals

    Splash, slide and dive with families, coworkers and friends! Miller Park Pool is available for rentals when closed to the general public. All rentals have a two-hour minimum, which includes an hour and 45 minutes of swim time. Pool rentals begin at 6:30 pm, Monday through Saturday and 5:30 pm on Sundays. Booking begins April 1, 2015 for the season, and available rental dates will be from Saturday, June 6, 2015 and Monday, August 10, 2015.

    Riverfront Park Fountain

    Riverfront Park is located near the river in downtown Lynchburg, connects to the Riverwalk trail along its northern edge. Our Riverfront Park Fountain offers a splash of fun and a great way to cool down in the summer. Open daily May 1 - October 15 from 11am-7pm. Stop by and run on through!  CURRENTLY THE RIVERFRONT PARK FOUNTAIN IS CLOSED FOR REPAIR. FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES. 

    Riverside Park Sprayground

    The 1,900 square-foot sprayground at Riverside Park is the place to get wet and wild and crazy this summer! Squirting water, spitting frogs, dumping buckets and more will be running all summer long. Open daily May 1 - October 1, 11:00am - 7:00 pm. FREE.
