Interested in the news and people of the past? We have newspapers clippings and microfilm, old directories, and histories of Lynchburg. For more extensive histories or genealogy research, please visit the Jones Memorial Library. |

| Martin Luther King, Jr. Center |
The MLK, Jr. Center was established in 1991. Its purpose is to provide for the development and maintenance of a focal point for human rights concerns in our community. It is located in the quiet room of the main library. |
