    Online Books, Magazines and Audiobooks

    Your library card gives you free access to the following online materials. Scroll down to access online audiobooks (OneClick Digital or Overdrive) and online magazines (Zinio).

    eBooks using OverDrive, Tumblebooks, or Freading.
     

    Use OverDrive to download online ebooks, audiobooks, and videos in a shared regional collection.  Login into OverDrive with your library card number to view titles available only to Lynchburg Public Library patrons. Get step by step instructions on how to use your device with OverDrive here

    Tumblebooks are ebooks for e-kids!  Enjoy animated talking picture books for younger children with music, puzzles, and games.  Stories are available in English, Spanish and French.

    Another collection of downloadable ebooks, Freading works on a token system rather than first come, first serve. Tokens are free with your library account. ebooks are compatible with iPads, iPhones, Nooks, the Kindle Fire, Sony Readers, Kobos, and most Android based tablets and phones.

    eAudiobooks with Overdrive or OneClick Digital

        

    With Overdrive you can listen to newly released titles on your computer or mobile device.  Login into OverDrive with your library card number to view titles available only to Lynchburg Public Library patrons. Get step by step instructions on how to use your device with OverDrive here.

    OneClickdigital offers additional audiobook titles, provided through the Library of Virginia, available for checkout with your library card.  Items checkout for 21 days, with a one time renewal for 7 days.  A maximum of 10 titles at a time can be checked out on your card.

    Please use ONLY the first 12 digits of your 13 digit library card number when creating your OneClick Digital account.

    eMagazines with Zinio

    Zinio gives you access to full digital copies of your favorite magazines.  Download the Zinio Reader app to view your selected titles on a mobile device.  You will need your library card number to create an account.
