The City of Lynchburg is a recipient of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These supplemental funds must be used to perform activities that primarily benefit qualifying individuals and families that are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in other vulnerable populations. The City’s HOME-ARP Draft Allocation Plan ("Draft Plan") will be available for public review and comment from January 10 through January 24, 2023.
On Tuesday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m., Lynchburg City Council will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of obtaining public input on the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. The hearing will take place in City Hall, Council Chamber, 900 Church Street. Questions should be directed to the Grants Manager at (434) 455-3916.
