A - The City Map Room has no information on drainfields. Contact the VA Health Department's Environmental Health 434-947-6781.

Q - Where are my property corners located? I need to know what my property boundaries are.
A - To get exact property boundaries the homeowner would need to get a licensed surveyor to mark property corners (there is a cost for this). You may also obtain a copy of any recorded survey done in the City of Lynchburg in the Clerk's Office. NOTE: If a property was annexed into the City in 1976 and no survey has been done for that property since then there would be no surveys recorded in the Clerk's Office. There may however be surveys done that are recorded in the County. THE CITY DOES NOT DO SURVEY WORK FOR PRIVATE HOMEOWNERS. YOU MUST HIRE A LICENSED SURVEYOR.
