    Temporary Lane Closures Scheduled

    MADISON STREET
    Now through Friday, October 8, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, a portion of Madison Street (in the vicinity of 83 Madison Street) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the abandonment of a section of an existing gas line by Columbia Gas of Virginia. 

    RIVERMONT AVENUE
    Now through Friday, October 8, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, a portion of Rivermont Avenue (in the vicinity of 2242 Rivermont Avenue) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the abandonment of an existing gas line by Columbia Gas of Virginia.

    BOONSBORO ROAD
    Now through Tuesday, November 2 (including weekends), 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily, a portion of Boonsboro Road (in the vicinity of 5996 Boonsboro Road) in the northwest direction will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the placement of underground fiber optic cable by Segra.    

    LAKESIDE DRIVE AT COLLEGE DRIVE
    Beginning Wednesday, October 6 and continuing through Wednesday, November 3, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily (including weekends), a portion of the intersection at Lakeside Drive and College Drive (in the vicinity of 1518 Lakeside Drive) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate crews from Lumos/Segra to relocate communication lines.

    TATE SPRINGS ROAD
    Beginning Friday, October 8 and continuing through Tuesday, October 12 (excluding weekends), 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, a portion of Tate Springs Road (in the vicinity of 1901 Tate Springs Road) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the installation of new gas service by Columbia Gas of Virginia.

    SEDGEWICK DRIVE
    Beginning Monday, October 11 and continuing through Friday, October 15, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, a portion of Sedgewick Drive (in the vicinity of 2809 Sedgewick Drive) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the extension of a gas line for new service by Columbia Gas of Virginia.

    Motorists should expect minor delays and use caution while traveling through these work zones, be alert to the changes in traffic patterns and obey temporary signage. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
