On Tuesday, September 20, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., the railroad crossing at Concord Turnpike will be temporarily closed to all traffic in order to allow crews from CSX to repair a rail defect. A traffic detour will be in place, and flaggers will be stationed at Washington Street and Main Street to assist trucks in making any necessary wide turns.
Additionally, on Wednesday, September 21, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., the railroad crossing will be partially closed for continued repairs; however, one side of the crossing will remain open to traffic, including emergency vehicles, during this time. There will be no detours or flaggers on this date.
