Splash Class

Splash Class is a fun, interactive, professional development half day camp for teachers.  Come learn about Lynchburg’s local water history, environmental education, and expand your outdoor teaching skills. You’ll get to tour a drinking water facility, a wastewater treatment facility, AND earn certificates in Project Learning Tree and Project WET. Don’t worry, this camp is made to be interactive, outdoor based, and FUN. You’ll leave the week with continuing education credits, lesson plans, and new engaging resources for you and your students.  We can’t wait to help you make a Splash in your classroom.

Who: Lynchburg Area Teachers, homeschool instructors, and informal educators

When: June 12-16, 2023 from 9am-1pm

Where: We will meet in different locations each day, but will be based out of the College Hill Water Treatment Plant at 525 Taylor Street (refer to schedule below for specifics)

Cost: $25 (to be paid in cash or check by first day of class)
