The following street and parking closures will occur between Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 to accommodate Downtown Lynchburg Association’s Bright Nights Festival:
Temporary Street Closures
On Sunday, November 19, 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., a portion of Commerce Street (from 10th Street to just before the Main Street intersection) will be closed to all traffic as well as portions of 11th, 12th, and 13th Streets (from Main Street to Commerce Street). 10th Street will remain open.
Motorists, including emergency vehicles, must use alternate routes during this time.
Temporary Parking Closures
Street parking in the areas listed above will be unavailable. In addition, the 12th Street Parking Lot (located behind the old City Auditorium) will close beginning Saturday, November 18 at 9:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 19 at 10:00 p.m. Towing will be enforced.
