UPDATE: Extended Closure of Railroad Crossing on Washington Street (Nov. 21-22)

UPDATE:  The railroad crossing on Washington Street, which closed this morning, Monday, November 21 at 6:00 a.m., was originally scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 a.m. The railroad crossing is now scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, November 22 by 8:00 p.m. The closure is necessary so CSX crews can continue to perform scheduled maintenance on the tracks. A detour route is in place for all traffic.

November 15, 2022 - Beginning Thursday, November 17 at 6:00 a.m. and continuing through Friday, November 18 at 6:00 a.m., the railroad crossing at Concord Turnpike will be temporarily closed to all traffic in order to accommodate CSX crews to perform scheduled maintenance on the tracks. A detour route will be in place, and flaggers will be stationed at Washington Street to assist trucks in making any necessary wide turns. 

Then, beginning Monday, November 21 at 6:00 a.m. and continuing through Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 a.m., the railroad crossing on Washington Street will be temporarily closed so CSX crews can continue to perform scheduled maintenance on the tracks. A detour route will be in place at this location as well.
